Who We Are

“Mad About Music” is written by Rick Anderson and Kent Anderson, two unrelated musicians, music lovers, and writers who over the years gradually discovered a lot of connections and a common interest in writing about music. Rick is the Associate Dean of Libraries at the University of Utah, plays bass, guitar, and banjo (specializing in the clawhammer banjo). Kent is currently a consultant, and has been involved as publisher or CEO of a number of high-profile medical and scientific journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine and Science. He plays keyboards. Each post is copyrighted by the respective author as of the date of publication, unless otherwise noted.
